Beitar Jerusalem Owner Reveals Record 74 Million NIS Budget for Upcoming Season
Beitar Jerusalem's owner, Barak Abramov, disclosed in an interview with Omri Asenheim that the club's budget for the upcoming season stands at 74 million shekels. This marks the highest budget since the era of Arcadi Gaydamak, signaling the club's ambition to compete at the highest level. Abramov emphasized, "We are playing with the big teams, unequivocally, and want to go as far as possible. Sometimes we manage to sign certain players, sometimes not, but we are definitely in the fight."
This summer, Beitar Jerusalem made significant acquisitions, adding players such as Sean Weisman, Eugene Ansa, Tomer Yosefi, Daniel Varko, and Noam Motza. The club also retained its existing squad, with the exception of Yarin Levi, who returned to his youth club Maccabi Haifa. Key players like Yarden Shua, Omer Atzili, Brian Crabli, and Luka Gadrani remain on the roster.
The full interview with Abramov will be broadcast tonight at 23:45 on SPORT5, providing further insights into the club's plans and ambitions for the season ahead.
