IDF Secures Control in Lebanese Village, Uncovers Over 150 Weapons Linked to Hezbollah
Over the past month, the IDF's 401st Brigade Combat Team under the command of the 91st Division has established operational control in the village of Hdaata in southern Lebanon, an area within the security zone where Israeli forces operate. Hdaata had been a focal point for Hezbollah terrorist activities. During the operation, the IDF destroyed more than 90 terrorist infrastructure sites, eliminated over 20 militants, and discovered more than 150 weapons. The seized arsenal included RPG rockets, anti-tank missiles, machine guns, and Kalashnikov rifles.
The IDF stated that it will continue to act to neutralize all threats against its forces and prevent Hezbollah from harming Israeli civilians. The operation reflects ongoing efforts to maintain security along the Israel-Lebanon border and disrupt Hezbollah's military capabilities in the region.
