IDF Forces Uncover Over 150 Weapons in Hezbollah Stronghold in Southern Lebanon

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) troops from Brigade 401, operating under the command of Division 91, have secured operational control over the village of Hdata in southern Lebanon, a known Hezbollah activity hub. This development was officially announced by the IDF spokesperson on Monday. Over the past month, the forces conducted extensive operations in the area, destroying more than 90 terror infrastructures and eliminating over 20 militants.

During these operations, the troops discovered and confiscated over 150 weapons caches, including RPG rockets, anti-tank missiles, machine guns, and Kalashnikov rifles. The IDF highlighted that the large quantity of weapons found indicates Hezbollah's significant military presence and preparation for potential attacks against Israeli forces and northern communities.

The IDF emphasized that these actions are part of an ongoing effort to neutralize threats in the security zone and to prevent Hezbollah from establishing a foothold near the Israeli border. Brigade 401 and Division 91 will continue their operational activities in southern Lebanon to maintain security and protect northern Israel.
