Ironi Tiberias responded strongly to the National Anti-Doping Agency's decision to temporarily suspend five players and three staff members amid the ongoing doping investigation. The club expressed shock and outrage at what it called a "populist and scandalous" ruling, criticizing the agency for imposing the unprecedented suspensions without a proper hearing or laboratory tests, relying solely on assumptions. The club accused the agency of succumbing to political and media pressure allegedly exerted by M.S. Ashdod, which it claims is attempting to influence league outcomes off the field.

The suspended individuals are barred from participating in official football activities immediately, as mandated by the Israel Football Association. A hearing will follow, after which the suspensions may be lifted, upheld, or lead to disciplinary proceedings.
