IDF Air Force Strikes Hezbollah Weapons Convoy and Terror Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a series of targeted airstrikes against Hezbollah terror infrastructure in southern Lebanon on Thursday and into Friday night. The operations were conducted by the Air Force under the guidance of the 91st Division, striking approximately ten Hezbollah facilities in the areas of Bint Jbeil, Beit Yahoun, Kounin, and Barashit. According to the IDF, these sites were directly used by Hezbollah to plan and execute terrorist attacks against Israeli forces, violating existing agreements.

The military action continued overnight when forces identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell transporting weapons in a truck near the security zone border. The Air Force promptly deployed aircraft that precisely destroyed the vehicle. The IDF reported observing secondary explosions from the truck, confirming it carried a significant quantity of arms and ammunition.

The IDF emphasized that it will not tolerate attacks on its soldiers or attempts by Hezbollah to rearm in violation of agreements. A spokesperson stated, "The IDF will continue to act to eliminate any threat to its forces and the citizens of the State of Israel." Footage of the strikes and the destruction of the weapons convoy was released by the IDF spokesperson's unit.

This operation reflects Israel's ongoing efforts to enforce the terms of the security arrangements in southern Lebanon and prevent Hezbollah from strengthening its military capabilities near the border.
