IDF Finds Underground Tunnels, Weapons, and Explosives in Southern Lebanon

In recent days, fighters from the IDF's 401 Brigade discovered an underground tunnel and a weapons cache containing rockets and mortar shells in the al-Tiri area of southern Lebanon. The IDF spokesperson reported these findings as part of ongoing security operations in the region. Additionally, reservists from the Yiftach Brigade (679) uncovered explosives, firearms, and other combat equipment during a separate operation in the Maroun al-Ras area. These discoveries highlight continued efforts by the Israeli military to detect and neutralize threats along the Lebanon border.
