A joint investigation team formed by the Central Unit in the Lachish region and the Military Police Investigations Division has arrested an active reserve soldier on suspicion of illegal arms trading and possession. The operation took place this week in the city of Netivot, where detectives from the Lachish District Police conducted a search of the suspect's home. During the search, authorities seized a Kalashnikov rifle, a sniper rifle, and ammunition. The suspect was taken into custody and transferred to the Military Police Investigations Division for further questioning.
