Portland Trail Blazers player Deni Avdija executed a viral play during the team's recent win against the Phoenix Suns, earning widespread praise from NBA commentators. The Trail Blazers extended their strong start to the season, improving to a 6-1 record with the victory.

During the third quarter, Avdija signaled to teammate Damian Lillard for the ball during a fast break, pointing out Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker. "He pointed at him," said Locked On Blazers commentator Mike Richman. "He looked for the 'little guy' and chose to run him over. Lillard passed him the ball, and Avdija finished near the rim."

Commentators on ESPN's podcast also lauded Avdija's performance. "Deni Avdija continues where he left off when he was selected for the All-Star game," stated Brian Windhorst. "He knows how to get into the paint. My God, he's a wrecking ball." Tim McMahon added, "Avdija is the giant guard. He creates with the ball in his hand. He's really good at creating off the dribble. He gets into the paint with a pass. You don't want to take an offensive foul on this guy."
