Soccer Player Accused of Sexual Harassment During Massage

A foreign soccer player in Israel's Premier League is under investigation for allegedly sexually harassing a male medical masseuse during a treatment session. The player reportedly exposed himself to the masseuse and asked, "Do you like this?" while performing a lewd act. The masseuse was reportedly stunned and immediately left the session. According to new details released by Kan News on Wednesday, the player allegedly contacted the masseuse the following day to book another appointment. When he received no response, the player sent an apology message for his actions. The masseuse has been suffering from anxiety attacks and is receiving medication since the incident. The player had initially booked the masseuse through a social network, claiming he needed treatment before a game. The masseuse's lawyers stated that their client experienced a "severe and traumatic event of sexual harassment and indecent assault, with blatant exploitation of the situation within the framework of professional treatment." They added that his mental state has severely deteriorated, causing anxiety attacks, sleep disturbances, and difficulty returning to work. The report also referenced a previous incident where Roni Gal, the former coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv, left the team after being accused of sexually harassing a taxi driver. Gal issued an apology for his actions in that case.
