Eilat Teen Suspected of Sexually Assaulting 13 Minors

Police are preparing to indict an 18-year-old resident of Eilat, Osher Amram, on suspicion of committing sexual offenses against 13 minors, aged 7 to 13 and a half. The investigation began on October 9th when a mother reported that another teenager was blackmailing her son, threatening to release sexually explicit videos unless he sold him a cell phone at a discount. During her complaint, she revealed her son had been raped twice by the suspect and forced to engage in sexual acts with another minor.

Amram was arrested the day after the initial complaint and initially denied the allegations. However, during subsequent interrogations, he began to confess to sexual acts with several minors, including rape, sodomy, indecent acts, repeated sexual abuse, sexual propositions, and sending intimate photos. The investigation expanded as more minors came forward with suspicions of sexual abuse.

Testimonies were collected from child protection centers in Eilat and Safed, as well as from parents, friends, and educators. Three filmed reenactments were conducted at various locations, including residences and a public place. Evidence was also gathered from the suspect's phone. Some of the minors had difficulty cooperating with investigators, and some did not file explicit complaints, but Amram admitted to acts against them as well.

Separately, another teenager was questioned on suspicion of blackmailing one of the minors. He confessed to the threats and extortion, claiming he was aware of the sexual abuse committed by Amram.
