Netflix Offers Israeli Model Michelle Grantzig Starring Role in New Docu-Reality Series

International model Michelle Grantzig has reportedly received a surprising offer from streaming giant Netflix to star in a new docu-reality series. The show is expected to provide an exclusive look into her glamorous life in Spain, documenting her family's move to a new home in Madrid and incorporating intimate family moments. The series will also follow Grantzig and her partner, Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, at high-profile sporting events, red carpet appearances, fashion shows, and exclusive parties alongside global celebrities.

The series concept is said to be similar to Netflix's 2022 hit "I Am Georgina," which chronicled the life of Georgina Rodriguez, partner of Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the focus will be on Grantzig, her perspective on life at the top of the football world, and her own career and endeavors. Courtois himself previously featured in an Amazon Prime documentary about his recovery from a severe knee injury, during which Grantzig was a key support.

Grantzig, who is currently considering the substantial Netflix offer, recently spoke with the website ice about the emotional toll of living abroad, her struggles with anxiety since her army service, and rumors of relationship issues with Courtois. She also addressed the challenges of antisemitism she faces in the international professional arena, recounting instances where job offers were canceled explicitly because she is Israeli.

"Yes, I do pay a price," Grantzig stated. "I've had job offers that were suddenly canceled, and I was explicitly told it was because I am Israeli and it wasn't suitable at the moment." She emphasized that while some may avoid controversial situations, she is the one who suffers the consequences.

Grantzig also discussed her personal mental health journey and the importance of open dialogue. "I've spoken about my anxiety attacks, which started after the army, and other things I'm dealing with. I think when you talk about these things openly, it normalizes a very important conversation, especially for girls, boys, and the younger generation." She believes seeing someone they recognize from the screen experiencing similar issues can be impactful.

Balancing her demanding career with family life, including raising their daughter, requires significant planning and flexibility. "It's a crazy experience. It's very intense, with lots of flights, travel, games, and schedules, especially with a young child," she said. "But it's also a very special and fun experience. There's something beautiful about coming home to quiet and processing everything that happened. It's our time as a family to reconnect."

Recently, Courtois celebrated Grantzig's 28th birthday with a private flight from Madrid to Austria, staying at a luxury five-star spa and nature resort. The couple has not yet accepted the Netflix offer and is still carefully considering it. The article concludes by questioning whether Grantzig will soon be seen by millions worldwide.
