Content creator and "Big Brother" winner Gal Rubin has shared a sharp critique of human nature and the pretense of strength, stemming from her recent viewing of a reality TV show.
Rubin, known for her authentic and direct persona, posted a screenshot from Channel 13 showing Channel 14 commentator Avi Shoshan on a reality show set. She captioned it, "Except for real people who are 20% of the population who confidently hold their weaknesses and are not afraid to admit them."
In a subsequent video, Rubin elaborated, "Nobody is special, and as I always say, we all shit the same." She explained that despite outward appearances, everyone faces similar life challenges like disappointments, failures, successes, dreams, and traumas. The difference, she argued, lies in how individuals present these experiences to others.
Rubin questioned whether people are genuine, play a role, project strength, or simply state their truth. She emphasized the ease of being truthful and loving oneself through all circumstances.
Rubin's comments come after Avi Shoshan was involved in a controversy during the show. A preview revealed a heated argument between Shoshan and fellow contestant Lir Oz, where Shoshan reportedly yelled, "Shut your mouth! Shut your mouth! The country's bitch, that's what you are!" and called her "stupid." Oz, visibly upset, described the incident as the most humiliating thing that had ever happened to her.
