Reality Star Buzaglo Slams Fellow Survivor Shoshan for Arrogance

Former footballer and reality TV star Asi Buzaglo has sharply criticized fellow "Survivor" contestant Avi Shoshan, a journalist and Channel 14 panelist, for his aggressive behavior and perceived arrogance on the show. The controversy erupted after a preview of an upcoming episode, airing Saturday night on Reshet 13, showed Shoshan engaging in an unprecedented outburst. During the incident, Shoshan was recorded using harsh curses and insults directed at contestant Lir Oz, and confidently declared himself "the smartest person in the history of Survivor."

The viral footage reached Buzaglo, a "Survivor" veteran who won the VIP season and was named "Last Survivor" and "Audience Favorite." Buzaglo responded on the "Israel Entertainment" page, questioning Shoshan's claims of intelligence and his aggressive demeanor. "The smartest person in the history of Survivor? Okay... and what about the mouth? Also the strongest in the history of Survivor? I didn't understand that everything this season is the strongest in the history of Survivor..." Buzaglo wrote, adding, "Where is some modesty with the 'me, me, me'? Let your moves speak! Why dirty your mouth at the beginning? It's really unbearable."

Shoshan's outburst towards Oz included shouting "Shut your mouth! Shut your mouth! You think you'll be loved or not loved. The country's dog, that's what you are!" He also reportedly told her, "Don't mess with me, you idiot," which left Oz in tears, stating it was the most humiliating thing that had ever happened to her.

Shoshan also clashed with other tribe members, expressing frustration that they did not acknowledge his perceived intelligence. Buzaglo, drawing on his own "Survivor" experience, emphasized that displays of strength should come from quiet actions and building alliances based on trust and mutual respect, contrasting it with Shoshan's confrontational style. The impact of Buzaglo's public criticism on Shoshan's continued game remains to be seen.
