Maccabi Haifa Goalkeeper Yermakov Considers Transfer to Metalist Kharkiv

Maccabi Haifa goalkeeper Giorgi Yermakov is seriously considering a move to Ukrainian club Metalist Kharkiv. Yermakov, who recently traveled with Haifa to a training camp in Hungary, spoke with the club's management and expressed interest in the offer from Metalist. The proposed contract reportedly offers him around $600,000 per season, which is approximately three times his current salary at Maccabi Haifa.

Despite Yermakov's openness to the transfer, significant financial gaps remain between the two clubs, delaying the finalization of the deal. Maccabi Haifa is reluctant to part with one of their key players from last season. Should the transfer proceed, Maccabi Haifa plans to enter intense negotiations to sign Omri Glazer, the goalkeeper from Red Star Belgrade, as a replacement.

This potential transfer follows Maccabi Haifa's earlier interest in Brazilian player Bruninho during the January transfer window, indicating the club's active approach in strengthening its squad. The situation remains fluid as talks continue between the involved parties.
