The Israeli Ministry of Health has published regulations for voting in hospitals and other long-term care facilities during the upcoming 26th Knesset elections on Tuesday, October 27th. Tens of thousands of patients in general and psychiatric hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and other licensed medical institutions with over 50 beds will be able to cast their ballots at polling stations set up within these facilities.

To vote, patients must present a valid identification document and a hospitalization certificate issued by an authorized representative of the hospital or care facility. A designated staff member will be available at each institution on election day to answer any questions.
