Police are investigating a shooting incident outside a bank branch in the Yad Eliyahu neighborhood of Tel Aviv, where two brothers were found dead. Initial findings suggest that the older brother, in his 70s and licensed to carry a firearm, shot and killed his younger brother, in his 50s, following an argument. He then allegedly turned the gun on himself and committed suicide.

The incident occurred around 9:30 AM on Monday. Police and Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency services were dispatched to the scene on Moshe Dayan Street, where both brothers were pronounced dead. Investigators initially considered the possibility that the brothers shot each other, but evidence including security camera footage and witness testimonies, particularly from a bank employee who knew the brothers, now strongly supports the theory of murder-suicide.

The exact motive and background of the argument between the siblings remain unclear and are under active investigation. Detectives are continuing to gather evidence and interview witnesses to determine the precise circumstances that led to the fatal confrontation. The investigation is being handled by the Ayalon District's crime-fighting unit.
