Amnon Suilam, the father of Sergeant Yuval Shi Suilam, who was killed in a shooting attack near Hebron, delivered a heartfelt eulogy at his son's funeral on Sunday. Suilam demanded that the state expel the families of terrorists, stating he was prepared to go to jail for taking matters into his own hands if the government did not act. "These cursed terrorists took the law into their own hands," he cried, "They crushed an entire family, crushed several families, took everything from us."

Addressing the government and judicial system, Suilam pleaded for action against the terrorists' families, requesting they be removed from Israel. "I don't want to hear they are here in the country. I hope that by the end of the Shiva [seven-day mourning period] I will know they are not here," he said, expressing pain that while his family mourns, the terrorists' families are being supported. He warned, "And if the state does not do this, we will take the law into our hands. I am willing to sit in jail for this. I gave up my son, I want them to give up their lives here in the country."

Yuval's sister, Shira, also bid farewell to her brother, vowing not to let the terrorists break her spirit. Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir attended the funeral and called for decisive action against terrorism. Sergeant Yuval Shi Suilam, 20, was killed on Friday along with Sergeant Ron Yonatan Reitman when two terrorists opened fire on an IDF force at the Judea Junction. The two assailants were killed in an exchange of fire.
