Israeli Reservist Seriously Injured in Explosion in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Monday that a reservist was seriously injured earlier that day due to an explosion in southern Lebanon. The incident occurred around midday in the village of Arnoun near the Beaufort area. The injured soldier was evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, and his family has been informed. An initial IDF investigation has not yet determined the exact cause of the explosion, but the primary suspicion is that it was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED).

Earlier reports indicated that the Israeli Air Force conducted strikes the previous night against three Hezbollah command centers in the Nabatieh and Mayfadoun regions of southern Lebanon. These attacks were carried out in response to ongoing attacks against Israeli forces operating in the security zone by Hezbollah. Additionally, a multi-dimensional unit targeted a Hezbollah launcher earlier on Sunday, aiming to prevent further attempts to harm IDF troops.
