Maccabi Tel Aviv Plans to Replace Amir Saheti Ahead of New Season

Maccabi Tel Aviv has begun searching for a foreign winger to replace Amir Saheti, who is unlikely to remain with the club beyond the current period. Saheti, a Kosovar winger who joined the team during the January transfer window, became a key player for the yellow team but is expected to depart. Alongside this, the club is negotiating to sign a foreign central defender and is also seeking a foreign striker. If they fail to secure an Israeli midfielder, they plan to pursue a foreign player for the midfield position as well.

The club is awaiting Kairat's demands regarding midfielder Dan Glazer before making a final decision. If the asking price is reasonable and Kairat agrees to sell, Maccabi Tel Aviv intends to acquire Glazer. The team recently arrived in Serbia for their training camp, where Roy Revivo joined the squad and Kerwin Andrade is set to meet his teammates. Meanwhile, Hitor, who did not travel with the team, is expected to be sold soon. Itamar Noy also did not join the camp due to personal reasons but is expected to arrive later.

The training camp has been met with unusually hot weather, with temperatures reaching 38 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. This preparation phase follows the club's announcement of Kenny Miller's permanent appointment as head coach and the renewal of Dor Peretz's contract.
