  • The group alleges infiltration of Israeli military ranks and access to sensitive documents.
  • Handalah taunted Prime Minister Netanyahu about repeated security failures.

An Iranian hacker group named Handalah has claimed to have breached Israeli military bases and released purported video and photo evidence. The group stated on Wednesday that "images and videos obtained from your military bases during recent wars are now available for the whole world to view on Handalah's website." They further asserted that "all your cameras, sensors, and security systems have become a laughingstock today."

In a statement, Handalah declared that their operatives infiltrated Israeli military ranks and are still operating within the army, including in "meeting rooms, command centers, and even alongside senior commanders." The group questioned Israel's claims of an "invincible army" and free elections in light of such alleged security breaches.

Separately, the group claimed to have hacked the personal phone of Amire Aviv, identified as a commander in the Israeli military's elite Yahalom engineering unit. Handalah alleges this access yielded hundreds of documents and videos containing sensitive military information related to the unit's activities and personnel.

The hacker organization addressed Prime Minister Netanyahu, stating, "Mr. Netanyahu, you deserve congratulations. Under your leadership, 'October 7th' is coming, not just once, but again and again, and the Zionist army will never be able to sleep peacefully again."

This is not the first time Handalah has made exaggerated claims about breaching secret databases. Previously, during the World Cup, the group announced it had taken control of FBI drones monitoring the games. However, these claims have not been independently verified, and cybersecurity experts have expressed doubts about the authenticity of evidence previously released by the group.
