Lawyer Criticizes Police After Suspect in Leah Malka Murder Released to House Arrest

He highlighted that the failure began with inadequate handling of complaints filed at the Rishon Lezion police station months before the murder and culminated in the lack of results in the murder investigation. Carmeli announced plans to file a lawsuit on behalf of the family detailing all the police's shortcomings and vowed to continue pursuing justice for Leah through all legal means.
