Suspect in Leah Malka Car Bomb Murder to Be Released to House Arrest

The Central Unit of the Central District Police is expected to release the suspect in the murder investigation of Leah Malka, who was killed in a car explosion on Highway 20 near the Holon interchange, to house arrest. According to the police, this decision is based on the current evidentiary foundation at this stage of the investigation. However, they emphasized that this does not indicate the case is closed or that the suspicion against the individual has been removed. The investigation was transferred to the Central District Unit following directives from Police Commissioner Major General Dany Levi and Central District Commander Commissioner Amir Cohen, after which the suspect was arrested.
