Factions within Israel's "change bloc" are in preliminary talks with the Joint List party to coordinate Knesset actions after the upcoming elections if no clear winner emerges. The Joint List is willing to support ousting the current Knesset Speaker and passing a law to prevent Netanyahu from forming a government, in exchange for limitations on demolishing Arab homes. A recent poll shows the Izankot bloc leading with 52 seats, slightly ahead of the current coalition.

Preliminary discussions are underway between factions within the "change bloc" and the Joint List party regarding coordination of Knesset maneuvers following the upcoming elections, should they conclude without a clear victor. This was reported Tuesday evening by Kan News.

The Joint List has expressed willingness to support the replacement of the Knesset Speaker and the advancement of the "accused" law, which would prevent Netanyahu from forming the next government. However, they are expected to demand concessions in return, likely in the form of a "temporary order" to limit the demolition of structures in Arab communities. Representatives from the change bloc have not ruled out granting this demand.

A Kan News poll released Sunday indicates that the Izankot bloc is regaining the lead with 52 seats, compared to the current coalition's 51. Last week's poll showed the coalition with 53 seats and the Izankot bloc with 50.

Other parties saw shifts: Likud and Yashai! each gained one seat from the previous week, reaching 21 and 23 mandates respectively. The Democrats also strengthened by one seat to nine, their highest since early September. Naftali Bennett's Yamina party remained unchanged with 12 seats. The Reservists and Economic parties, led by Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelekha, held steady at four seats. Religious Zionism and Zehut increased to seven seats from five, while Otzma Yehudit weakened to eight. Yahadut HaTorah dropped to seven seats from eight, and Shas gained one seat to eight. The Hadash-Ta'al and Balad list maintained eight seats, as did Yisrael Beiteinu. Ra'am remained at five seats.

As in the previous poll, Benny Gantz's Blue and White, Moti Lightner's Haredi Public and Eliyahu Boymirind's "Black Flag of Torah World" failed to pass the electoral threshold.
