Maccabi Haifa Signs Brazilian Midfielder Bruninho for Three Seasons

Maccabi Haifa has reached an agreement with Ukrainian club Karpaty Lviv to acquire 26-year-old forward midfielder Bruno de Silva, known as Bruninho. The player is expected to arrive in Israel within the coming days, with the transfer contingent on passing medical examinations. Alongside the club agreement, Bruninho's personal terms with Maccabi Haifa have been settled for a three-season contract. Once he completes the medical tests, he is set to officially sign and join the team's training camp in Hungary.

Bruninho, who developed in Brazil's Atletico Mineiro academy, joined Karpaty Lviv on loan in summer 2024 before the Ukrainian club exercised a purchase option last summer. In the previous season, he made 28 appearances across all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing two assists. In the current 2024/25 season, he has recorded eight goals and three assists in 25 appearances. Maccabi Haifa had previously negotiated for Bruninho's transfer in January, but the deal did not materialize during the winter transfer window.
