Spirit World Productions, a tourism company specializing in exotic destinations and exclusive direct flights, is increasing its flight operations from Israel to the Seychelles. This expansion is driven by high demand for the destination and recent changes in the aviation industry, including the suspension of Flydubai flights to Israel and restrictions on connecting flights through Dubai via Emirates. These disruptions have limited travel options for Israelis to various Middle Eastern destinations.
To provide a direct and convenient alternative for Israeli travelers seeking a safe, warm, year-round destination, the company will add three direct flights to the Seychelles for March and April 2027, including the Passover holiday period. These flights will be operated exclusively for Spirit World Productions by an Israeli airline and Air Seychelles.
In conjunction with the increased flights, the company has also expanded its room allocations at leading Seychelles resorts through long-term agreements, enabling competitive pricing for Israeli vacationers. Spirit World Productions' owner and CEO, Tali Yetiv, noted a significant increase in demand for Seychelles holidays, with Hanukkah flights already nearly full. She highlighted the destination's appeal due to its warm weather, safety, and welcoming atmosphere for Israeli tourists.
The decision to add these exclusive flights comes in the wake of the operational changes at Flydubai. The article references a September 29th incident where a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Ben Gurion Airport, carrying 175 passengers including many Israelis, experienced an attempted hijacking by the co-pilot. Israeli passengers and crew members successfully subdued the co-pilot, preventing the plane from crashing.
