A man, approximately 50 years old, died on Tuesday after his vehicle caught fire on Road 92 near Ramot in the Golan Heights. Magen David Adom (MDA) received a report of the incident at 2:41 PM. Responders arrived at the scene and performed extensive resuscitation efforts, but were forced to declare the man deceased due to the critical nature of his injuries.

"When we arrived, we saw a man about 50 years old lying on the road, unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, suffering from severe multi-system trauma," said MDA paramedic Shachar Ben Anat and emergency medical technician Gilad Cohen. "We performed advanced resuscitation, but unfortunately, his injury was critical, and we had to pronounce him dead at the scene."

Firefighting teams from the Galilee-Golan region worked to extinguish the vehicle fire, which had spread to a nearby open area. "The fire also spread to a nearby open area. Firefighters are working to extinguish the blazes in the vehicle and the area and to contain the spread of the fire to adjacent agricultural lands," reported Fire Sergeant Major Adir Gadsy, the incident commander.

The police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, and the driver's identity is not yet known. Road 92 was closed to traffic between the Ramot junction and the Yehudiyya junction due to the fire, and drivers are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
