Rescuers from the Etzion-Judea volunteer unit of the Israeli Police successfully extracted a 15-year-old boy who was injured during a school trip. The incident occurred on Thursday morning at a site known as "Misgav 21" along the Burma Road in the Jerusalem Hills. The teenager sustained an injury to his lower body and was unable to continue his trek.

Volunteer rescuers reached the boy on foot deep within the terrain. They provided initial medical treatment alongside paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) and United Hatzalah. Following a medical assessment, the boy was evacuated from the area on a specialized stretcher by the volunteer unit and the MDA and United Hatzalah teams.

The teenager was transported in light condition by an MDA ambulance to Shamir Medical Center, formerly Assaf Harofeh, for further medical care.
