Israel Defense Minister Vows No Immunity for Hamas Terrorists

Defense Minister Israel Katz congratulated the IDF and Shin Bet on Sunday for a targeted operation overnight against Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip. Katz stated that the operation is part of an ongoing effort to thwart any attempts to advance terror activities against Israel. He emphasized that the defense establishment will continue to operate forcefully until its goals are achieved: dismantling Hamas and completely disarming Gaza of weapons and tunnels. This will occur either within the framework of a hostage release deal led by the United States or through practical means recognized by the IDF. The minister indicated that the time for this is approaching and that IDF forces are prepared for the mission. Katz also noted that, following a joint directive from him and the Prime Minister, efforts continue to neutralize all those involved in the October 7th atrocities, whether in Gaza or abroad, stressing that no one will have immunity.
