An Israeli man in his 60s was shot and killed overnight Monday in the village of Al-Eizariya, near Ma'ale Adumim. The man was brought to the entrance of the city, where Magen David Adom (MDA) teams met him and pronounced him dead. Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

"When we arrived at the scene, we saw a man unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, suffering from penetrating wounds to his body," said MDA paramedic Gilad Admon. "We performed medical examinations, but his injuries were significant, and we could only pronounce him dead at the scene."

Separately, a 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Ashkelon on Sunday. He was evacuated in serious condition to Barzilai Hospital in the city, where his death was pronounced. Another person who sustained minor injuries was also taken to the hospital. Police arrested two suspects in that incident and questioned eight additional individuals on suspicion of involvement.

According to Haaretz's tracking, 218 people have been murdered in Israel since the beginning of the year, including at least 178 Arabs.
