Second Car Explosion in Gush Dan Leaves Man Critically Injured Hours After Fatal Blast in Jaffa

A man in his 30s was found unconscious and in serious condition after a car exploded on HaLohamim Street in Holon on Sunday afternoon. The explosion was reported to Magen David Adom at 11:59 AM, prompting a large police presence and initial investigations, alongside searches for suspects.

This incident occurred just hours after Iyad Rab, a 38-year-old Jaffa resident, was killed in a car explosion on Saharon Street in Jaffa around 7:30 AM. His six-year-old son, who was with him during the blast, was taken to Wolfson Hospital in Holon and is in stable, moderate condition. Authorities are exploring the possibility that these attacks are acts of revenge linked to the killing of teenager Ahmad Jabari in Jaffa the previous Thursday.

Further violence followed, with two men, Adnan Ganem and Galeb Abu-Ras, shot dead in Kalansawa, likely connected to ongoing blood feuds that have claimed nine lives, six in the past six months. Additionally, 19-year-old Nour Nuseirat was killed at his home entrance in Tayibe after returning from a wedding, with another young man seriously injured in the attack.

These events highlight a surge in violent retaliations in the Gush Dan area and surrounding cities, with police actively investigating and searching for suspects amid escalating tensions.
