Man Seriously Injured in Car Explosion in Holon Amid Rising Vehicle Bombings

A man in his 30s was critically injured and unconscious after his car exploded on HaLohamim Street in Holon on Saturday morning. Emergency teams arrived at the scene following a report at 11:59 AM and found the driver lying near the burning vehicle with multiple severe injuries. He was given life-saving medical treatment on site before being rushed to Wolfson Hospital in unstable condition.

This incident marks the sixth or seventh car bombing assassination in recent months, according to police data. These attacks are mostly linked to criminal disputes among offenders. In a recent unusual case, a man ordered the killing of his ex-partner by rigging her car with explosives on the Ayalon Highway.

Since the start of the year, 165 people have been killed in Israel, with 141 victims from the Arab sector. These figures surpass last year's record, which itself broke the previous year's high. The surge in violent crime raises serious concerns about the police's ability to control the escalating criminal violence, despite promises of governance made by the Minister of National Security.
