Security Footage Captures Deadly Car Explosion Killing Man in Holon Amid Wave of Violence

A new security camera video has revealed the moment a deadly car explosion occurred on HaLohamim Street in Holon, killing a man in his 30s. The incident took place on Sunday at 11:59 AM and is part of a series of violent murders across the Tel Aviv metropolitan area within the last 24 hours, including five fatalities in Jaffa, Kalansawa, Tayibe, and Holon.

The footage shows the vehicle parked before a sudden, powerful blast shakes the area. The driver was critically injured and rushed to Wolfson Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Emergency medical teams described the scene, noting the driver was unconscious and suffering from severe multi-system trauma. Police launched a large-scale investigation and began searching for suspects.

This explosion in Holon followed an earlier car bombing in Jaffa around 7:30 AM that killed Iyad Rab, 38, while his six-year-old son was moderately injured and hospitalized. Authorities suspect these attacks are linked to violent feuds and blood revenge stemming from the killing of teenager Ahmed Jabari in Jaffa last Thursday.

Hours later, two men, Adnan Ganem and Galeb Abu-Ras, were shot dead in Kalansawa, also believed to be connected to ongoing violent disputes that have claimed nine lives, six of them in the past six months. Overnight, 19-year-old Bakr Nuseirat from Tayibe was murdered outside his home after returning from a wedding, with another young man seriously wounded in the same attack.

The recent surge in violence has prompted intensified police efforts to curb the bloodshed and bring the perpetrators to justice.
