Israel will transition to winter time this coming Sunday, October 25th, at 2:00 AM. At that hour, clocks will be turned back by one hour, effectively adding an hour to sleep time. Smartphones with the Israeli time zone set to Jerusalem should automatically adjust. This winter time period is scheduled to last until the night of March 26, 2026, when clocks will move forward an hour, unless a decision is made to abolish daylight saving time or alter its schedule. In past years, there were instances of confusion with smartphones not adjusting correctly, but the last such issue was reported on September 20, 2015. Since 2016, clock changes have proceeded without technical problems, with modern smartphones handling the adjustments automatically.
