An unusual incident occurred earlier this week in Petah Tikva when several toddlers left their kindergarten without supervision and were found wandering alone in the city streets, riding toy cars. Police received a report on Sunday about the children seen unattended near a kindergarten. Officers arrived at the scene, located the toddlers, and ensured they were returned to their parents. Simultaneously, investigators from the Petah Tikva station launched an inquiry into the circumstances of the event, gathering evidence and testimonies. As part of the investigation, two female staff members from the kindergarten, aged in their 40s and 50s, were detained for questioning. Following their interrogation, both were released under restrictive conditions. The incident raised concerns about the safety and supervision of young children in daycare facilities.
