Two Men Killed in Motorcycle Crash Near Golani Interchange
Two men were killed on Sunday in a serious motorcycle crash on Route 65, between Golani Junction and the Natufa Interchange. Police said the collision involved a motorcycle and a private car, and the victims were two men whose identities have not yet been determined.
Israel Police officers and traffic accident investigators arrived at the scene, collected evidence, and opened an inquiry into the circumstances of the crash. Route 65 was closed in both directions, and drivers were told to use alternate routes and follow instructions from officers at the site.
Magen David Adom later said medics pronounced dead two men who were about 25 years old and suffered multiple-system trauma. Dr. Omri Gorגה of MDA and volunteer paramedic Shelo Ben Shabat said they found the riders unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing, and with severe injuries after being hurt while riding.
According to the medics, medical checks were performed at the scene, but the injuries were too severe and there was nothing left to do except declare them dead there.
