Assaf Rajuan, one of six Israelis who subdued an attacker on a Flydubai flight last week, has detailed disturbing behavior by the flight crew during the incident. Rajuan, who was traveling with his wife Lior and their daughters Romi and Lian, described moments of panic as he rushed to the cockpit while passengers screamed. He stated that while he has no definitive proof, his observations have been passed to security agencies for investigation.

Rajuan noted that two flight attendants were unusually tall and did not fit the typical profile of cabin crew. During the attempted hijacking, the attendants exchanged tense glances, spoke in their own language, and questioned Rajuan about whether he was in security forces. He also reported that the attendants seemed to know the cockpit entry code and moved in and out of the pilot's area freely.

Further raising suspicions, Rajuan recounted an incident where a doctor, Shohta, was attempting to treat the assaulted pilot. One of the flight attendants allegedly tried to force an unidentified pill into the pilot's mouth, an action stopped by passengers. The crew also appeared to hinder passengers who were documenting the event and absurdly instructed everyone to fasten their seatbelts during the life-or-death struggle.

The most alarming moment, according to Rajuan, occurred after passengers restrained the attacker with zip ties and headphone cords. He witnessed one of the flight attendants attempting to gently release the attacker's restraints. Passengers intervened, pushing the attendant away. Rajuan expressed fear for his life, noting the intimidating size of the crew members and the possibility they might have concealed weapons.
