An Israeli passenger, Assaf Rajuan, has detailed his experience aboard a Flydubai flight where an Omani national attempted to attack the aircraft with 174 people on board. Rajuan, one of six Israelis who helped subdue the assailant, described unsettling behavior from some flight attendants during the incident, which occurred just over a week ago.

Speaking on the program "Ulpan Shishi" with his wife Lior, Rajuan recounted the terrifying moments his family endured. He stated that two large, physically imposing flight attendants exchanged worried glances and spoke in their own language during the commotion. They then questioned Rajuan in an accusatory tone, asking if he served in security forces.

Rajuan also reported that these flight attendants appeared to know the code to the cockpit and entered and exited freely, information he passed on to Israeli security services. In another alarming incident, one of the flight attendants allegedly attempted to give an unknown pill to the injured pilot, who was struggling to breathe after being attacked. Passengers intervened, shouting, which stopped the attendant.

Further raising suspicions, the flight attendants reportedly expressed anger at business class passengers filming the events and insisted passengers fasten their seatbelts despite the ongoing struggle. They also failed to attempt to calm passengers, a standard procedure in emergencies. The most disturbing event, according to Rajuan, occurred after the attacker was restrained with handcuffs and headphone wires by passengers. One flight attendant was observed trying to loosen the restraints, prompting other passengers to push him away.

Rajuan admitted he feared for his life, noting the intimidating presence of the flight attendants and the possibility they might carry concealed weapons. Security services are reportedly investigating the circumstances of the incident.
