Reality Star Mai Hatuel Cries Over Divorce Three Months After Split

Reality television personality Mai Hatuel is candidly sharing her struggles three months after announcing her divorce from husband Itay, following eight years of relationship and four years of marriage. Hatuel, 32, who gained fame on "The Race to the Million," posted an emotional message on Instagram detailing her difficult adjustment to life post-divorce. She admitted she is not yet in a strong place but is working towards it, sharing photos of herself in tears during this period.

Hatuel described breakups as forcing her to separate from herself, expressing the pain of losing loved ones and familiar places. She stated she is not attempting to present an overly optimistic message, acknowledging her current difficulties. She previously revealed that the decision to separate was not sudden, stemming from discussions about starting a family and unresolved issues within the relationship.

In a July interview, Hatuel mentioned that conversations about children were the initial catalyst for their separation discussions. She also noted that her participation in "The Race to the Million," with its intense experience and public exposure, added complexity to their relationship, though it was not the sole reason for the divorce. Hatuel has since moved to a new apartment in Jaffa with their shared dog, Leo, and is focusing on rediscovering herself after not being independent for eight years.
