A woman, approximately 40 years old, was killed on Thursday after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 85 in the Western Galilee. Emergency medical responders from Magen David Adom (MDA) who arrived at the scene provided medical treatment and performed resuscitation efforts. However, due to the severity of her injuries, they were forced to pronounce her dead.

MDA paramedic Tom Carmi and emergency medical technician Guy Kesfer described the scene as "very difficult." They stated that they were led to the woman, who was lying on the road unconscious, without breathing, and without a pulse after being hit by a vehicle. They immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts, including ventilation and medication, but unfortunately, her injuries were too severe, and they had no choice but to declare her deceased.
