A 40-year-old woman was killed on Tuesday evening after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 85 near the Bar Lev Industrial Zone in northern Israel. Emergency services received a report at 7:23 PM and dispatched paramedics to the scene. Upon arrival, they found the woman lying on the road, unconscious, with no pulse or breathing, suffering from severe, multi-system trauma.

Paramedics performed advanced resuscitation efforts, including CPR and administering medication. Despite their efforts, the woman's injuries were too severe, and they were forced to pronounce her dead at the scene. "It was a very difficult scene," said MDA paramedic Tom Karmi and EMT Guy Kaspar. "We were led to the woman who was lying on the road unconscious, without breathing and without a pulse after being hit by a vehicle. We immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts which included ventilation and medication, but unfortunately, her injuries were significant and we had no choice but to pronounce her dead."
