A 30-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 60 near Omer on Tuesday evening. Emergency services received a report of the crash at 6:51 PM. Magen David Adom paramedics arrived at the scene to find the man with no pulse and no breathing, suffering from severe systemic injuries. They pronounced him dead at the scene.

Another 30-year-old man, with moderate systemic injuries, was evacuated by MDA teams to Soroka Medical Center. Paramedic Aya Gazal and MDA motorcycle unit paramedic Oz Cohen described the scene as "shocking," noting significant damage to both vehicles. "One of the injured was trapped inside the vehicle, without pulse or breathing and suffering from systemic injuries," they stated. "We performed medical checks, but his injuries were significant and we could only pronounce him dead." Additional MDA teams provided medical treatment and evacuated the second injured man to the hospital.
