Residents Neutralize Armed Terrorist After Attack Attempt in Benjamin

New footage from a stabbing attempt in the Benjamin region shows residents of Hanania Farm confronting an armed terrorist and neutralizing him with a vehicle. The incident occurred in a grazing area between the towns of Michmas and Rimmonim. According to initial police findings, the terrorist arrived at the scene and allegedly set a farm vehicle on fire with a lighter. When residents approached him, he threatened them with a knife.

Witnesses reported hearing a suspicious noise during lunch and seeing the terrorist about 20 meters away, near the burning vehicle. As the terrorist ran towards them brandishing the knife, he hesitated upon seeing their defensive stance and then fled. The residents pursued him, and during the chase, he repeatedly attempted to stab them. After a pursuit of hundreds of meters, which included a face-to-face confrontation, one resident struck the terrorist with his vehicle, neutralizing him. Farm personnel stated this happened just before the terrorist could stab two more residents. The rescue organization "Yishai Without Borders" reported the terrorist was injured.

IDF forces were dispatched to the area following reports of the vehicle fire and two terrorists, one armed with a knife. After the first terrorist was neutralized by a civilian, additional forces surrounded the area and pursued the second terrorist. The IDF later announced that, under the direction of the Shin Bet, forces arrested a terrorist and an additional suspect involved in the attempted attack, updating earlier reports that the second terrorist had escaped.

Police officers and forensic investigators from the Judean and Samarian District arrived at the scene to investigate the incident. The injured terrorist was evacuated for medical treatment.
