New Footage Shows Israeli Farmers Chasing, Neutralizing Knife-Wielding Attacker

New footage has emerged showing the dramatic moments during an attempted attack in the Benjamin region, where residents of a farm chased and neutralized a Palestinian assailant. The incident concluded without any injuries.

The attacker reportedly arrived at the pastures of Hanania Farm in Benjamin earlier in the day and set fire to a farm vehicle. Residents who were having lunch nearby heard a suspicious noise, went outside, and saw the attacker approximately 20 meters away, near the burning car. According to the farm residents, the attacker then began running towards them brandishing a knife.

Farm residents quickly grabbed tools for self-defense and advanced towards the assailant. The attacker hesitated for a few seconds before fleeing. The residents then pursued him, attempting to neutralize him. During the chase, the attacker repeatedly tried to stab them with the knife to continue his escape. In the footage, one resident can be heard warning about the knife and shouting to a car driver, "He has a knife, run him over."

After a chase of several hundred meters, which included a face-to-face confrontation, one resident managed to neutralize the attacker with his vehicle. This occurred just before the attacker, according to the residents, attempted to stab two of the pursuers.

Initial police investigation suggests the attacker arrived equipped with a lighter, which he allegedly used to set the vehicle on fire. The knife and lighter were recovered at the scene. Police and forensic teams from the Judea and Samaria district are investigating. The IDF reported that two assailants were identified in the area. Following the neutralization of the knife-wielding attacker, additional forces were deployed to the area, cordoned it off, and began searching for a second attacker who escaped.
