Border Guard Attacked by Hundreds in Modi'in Illit, Police Investigate

A Border Police officer from the Haredi company was attacked by hundreds of suspects in Modi'in Illit on Sunday night. Meanwhile, a bar mitzvah celebration was taking place nearby, and the confrontation drew a large crowd, including dozens of Haredi men, leading to a disturbance.

During the riot, the officer was filmed using force against one of the participants. The witness stated the disturbance lasted about half an hour and only began to subside when the officer moved away and the police finally arrived. The police confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
