Palestinian Faction Leader Congratulates China on National Day

Fahd Suleiman, Secretary-General of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, sent a congratulatory message to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Suleiman wished China continued progress and success, the achievement of its ambitions, and the strengthening of its role in serving global peace, cooperation, and development.

In his message, Suleiman praised China's "insistence on continuing the revolutionary and developmental path," noting that the Chinese Communist Party had learned from major global transformations, drawing on historical struggles and sacrifices. He highlighted China's deep "liberatory, revolutionary, intellectual, and developmental experience" in state-building and strengthening its independence and progress.

Suleiman also emphasized China's adherence to its "civilizational genes," rooted in history, philosophy, and culture, and based on values of peace, harmony, mutual benefit, self-respect, respect for others, humility, and seriousness. He stated that this approach has enhanced China's standing and the respect it commands worldwide.

The Palestinian official noted with great interest China's political, economic, and developmental initiatives aimed at fostering regional and international cooperation and peace. He also acknowledged China's principled and positive stance on the Palestinian cause, reaffirming the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and an independent state in accordance with international law and resolutions.
