Israel’s Health Ministry said it received negative Ebola test results for two people who returned from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The two are still receiving medical care based on their condition.
The ministry stressed that, as of now, no confirmed Ebola case has been diagnosed in Israel. It also urged the public to avoid nonessential travel to areas where Ebola is actively spreading.
Officials said they are continuing to monitor the outbreak in Congo and Uganda. The update was issued amid concern over possible imported cases after travel from affected regions.
