Cellcom TV to Increase Sports Package Price by 9%
Cellcom TV customers will soon see a price hike for the "Sport 5 Premium" package, with the monthly cost increasing by approximately 9%. Starting October 14, 2026, the subscription fee will rise from NIS 52.44 to NIS 57 per month. This change affects subscribers who purchase the premium sports channels as an add-on to their basic service.
For those seeking a more affordable option, Free TV offers the "Sport 5 Premium" package included in its monthly subscription of NIS 49.90, which also covers "One" channels and allows viewing on two screens. An upgrade to five screens on Free TV costs NIS 64.90 per month.
Among other TV providers offering "Sport 5 Premium" as a separate package, Partner TV+ currently has the lowest price at NIS 49 per month. HOT and NEXT charge NIS 60, Sting TV+ charges NIS 64, and yes charges NIS 65.50 per month.
The "Sport 5 Premium" package includes channels such as Sport Max 5, Sport Gold 5, Sport 5 Live HD, Sport 5 4K, and Sport 5 Stars. Viewing is not supported on mobile phones or tablets. Yes also offers daily or separate channel purchases ranging from NIS 37.20 to NIS 42.30 per month.
The channels broadcast a variety of sports content, including highlights, Israeli Premier League football, Champions League, Formula 1, Israeli Basketball Premier League, EuroLeague basketball, French League football, tennis tournaments, and sports news. Notably, Cellcom subscribers paying for "Sport 1" and "Sport 2" (Charlton) do not have mobile viewing access to these channels, unlike subscribers of other TV companies.
A spokesperson for Cellcom stated, "Even when prices rose in the market, Cellcom maintained the same price in recent years. Even now, the increase is moderate."
