Elderly Pedestrian Killed by Truck Near Kibbutz Be'erotayim
An approximately 90-year-old pedestrian was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by a truck on Road 3525, near Kibbutz Be'erotayim in the Western Negev. Emergency medical services (Magen David Adom) who arrived at the scene found the woman unconscious on the road. After medical examinations, they were forced to pronounce her dead.
MDA paramedic Einav Yeshayahu described the scene, stating, "This is a difficult incident. The pedestrian was lying on the road, unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, with severe multi-system trauma after being hit by a truck. We performed medical checks and unfortunately had to determine her death at the scene."
