Elderly Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Beersheba Car Accident
A serious traffic accident occurred on Wednesday on Naftali Hertz Imber Boulevard in Beersheba, where an approximately 80-year-old pedestrian was struck by a passing vehicle. Medical teams from United Hatzalah's Southern District responded quickly to the emergency call and provided life-saving initial treatment at the scene. The pedestrian suffered severe head trauma and significant injuries due to the impact. After stabilization by paramedics, he was urgently transported by ambulance to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, where his condition is currently classified as serious. Police forces arrived at the scene and have begun investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. United Hatzalah medics Yossefi Ashur, Yinon Tubul, and Ariel Pahima, who were first on site, confirmed the victim's critical condition and the immediate medical assistance provided before hospital transfer.
