By ערוץ 7
Translated & summarized from Arutz Sheva by baba
The story · English

An elderly woman, approximately 90 years old, was killed on Wednesday morning after being struck by a truck while walking on Route 3525 near the community of Beror Chayil in southern Israel. Emergency medical teams responded to the scene but were forced to declare the woman dead after determining she had sustained severe, life-threatening injuries. Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.

MDA paramedic Einav Yeshayahu described the scene as "difficult," stating that the pedestrian was found lying on the road, unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, and suffering from extensive trauma consistent with being hit by a truck. "We performed medical checks and unfortunately had to pronounce her dead at the scene," Yeshayahu added.
